I’ll be your guide

I’m here to help you fully enjoy life with your dog or cat, using ethical, veterinary-approved methods that are personalised to both you and your dog or cat.

Whether you’re welcoming a new puppy, feeling overwhelmed by your dog’s behaviour or finding life with your cat is less than purr-fect, you’re in the right place. I offer calm, professional support to help you understand what’s going on so you can move forward with confidence.

How can I help you?

  • Dog behaviour assessment in East Yorkshire

    Assess and Advise Visit

If you are not sure what support service you need, I can do an assessment visit to give you advice and some immediate action points to help you get started down the road to improvement. I can do this single visit without a referral from your vet.

  • Dog Behaviour Programme

Problems with your beloved dog either in your home or out on walks can make life tense, stressful or embarrassing. I can help you understand why this behaviour is happening, and support you in creating more enjoyable walks and a calmer home life together.

  • Cat Behaviour Support

Issues such as toileting outside the litter box, aggression, or over-grooming can be challenging to live with. Cats are sensitive and easily affected by stress, but with the right support they can thrive in your home.

“We are forever grateful”

“Deb came into our lives after a tough time with our two year old JRT who had hormonal issues which meant that training went out of the window! Deb was calm, positive, practical and her advice and tips were easy to follow and implement. More importantly it worked!

She recognised Peggy's issues really quickly and worked to her strengths and we now have a dog that is calmer and responds well to training, that being said, she is still a Jack Russell so we're still working on the recall Deb !

“A behaviourist who truly cares

“Deb has been wonderful training and helping us with our Pointer puppy, Otis. He’s a lovely boy, but we’ve really struggled with managing his exuberant behaviour, his fear of the car, and holding him on walks. We were beginning to think we’d made a mistake getting him, but Deb’s friendly and sensitive approach helped us understand him better. Working with our vet, she showed us how to get him back on track.”

“It’s such a relief to feel listened to without judgement”

Deb has been absolutely fantastic, she has helped us train our pup since he was little and more recently helped us work through some issues he had with being left in the house when we were both at work. Knowing she is there has made a big difference to our lives.
